Grand Theft Auto V was released in 2013 and it is an action-adventure game which was developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was the seventh main entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, following 2008’s Grand Theft Auto IV, and the fifteenth instalment overall. Set within the fictional state of San Andreas, based on Southern California, the single-player story follows three protagonists—retired bank robber Michael De Santa (Ned Luke), street gangster Franklin Clinton (Shawn Fonteno), and drug dealer and gunrunner Trevor Philips (Steven Ogg), and their attempts to commit heists while under pressure from a corrupt government agency and powerful criminals. The moding community has been on a roll ever since GTA 5 source code became public and all the sensitive game files were leaked. there are already compiled versions of the game with new places and other contetns that the community created out of the source code and in the meanwhile severals fans are convinced that a GTA 5 Nintendo Switch port may now be possible
Swithc onwers has been requesting Rockstar Games to release a version of the game for their platforms, but there has been no development in that area even after a decade. while the source code has information about the canceled DLCs for the single players story mode, there is no indication that Rockstar games was working on Nintendo Part and now the codes and files are public, fans are hopeful that the moddding community may come up with an unofficial port.
The Rockstar Games had ended support for the PS3 and Xbox360 version of GTA 5, it may had decided not to worry about a nintendo part as well. since the studio was never made any public announcement regarding this topic, the true reason will never be known to anyone. But all the Nintendo switch user wants that GTA 5 released in Nintendo
